Inside the DeVonta Smith Celebrity Softball Game

Now entering its fifth year, the DeVonta Smith Celebrity Softball Game continues to grow into one of the biggest family friendly sports events in the Lehigh Valley. Hosted at Coca Cola Park, the weekend brought together NFL stars, celebrity guests, passionate fans, and nonstop entertainment for an unforgettable celebrity softball experience.

From the Home Run Derby to seven action packed innings of softball, the event delivered excitement from start to finish. Fans enjoyed meet and greets, community moments, and appearances from some of the NFL’s biggest names, creating an atmosphere that blended sports, culture, philanthropy, and entertainment all in one place.

The 2025 celebrity softball game featured standout athletes including Saquon Barkley, Brandon Graham, Cooper DeJean, Dallas Goedert, Terrell Owens, Darius Slay, Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Jahan Dotson, Jihaad Campbell, Isaiah Rodgers, Ryan Howard, Josh Harrison, Mack Wilson Sr., and many more. Throughout the weekend, sport sunglasses and performance eyewear could be seen all across the stadium as players and fans stepped into one of the most talked about celebrity sports events of the year.

• Gates Open: 5:30 PM

• Location: Constellation Field, Texas

• The Houston Texans defensive back closes out the early summer schedule with an evening celebrity softball showdown in the Lone Star State.

DeVonta Smith, affectionately known as "Smitty," is one of the most electrifying wide receivers in the NFL today. Born on November 14, 1998 in Amite City, Louisiana, Smith first rose to national prominence at the University of Alabama, where he won the prestigious Heisman Trophy in 2020, becoming the first wide receiver to win the award since 1991. During his college career with the Crimson Tide, he also captured a College Football National Championship, cementing himself as one of the greatest receivers in Alabama history.

Smith was selected 10th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2021 NFL Draft and quickly became a cornerstone of the franchise. Known for his pinpoint route running, soft hands, and clutch playmaking ability, Smitty has continued to climb the ranks of elite NFL wide receivers and remains a fan favorite throughout Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley.

Off the field, DeVonta is deeply rooted in family, faith, and giving back. He frequently credits his close-knit family and Louisiana upbringing for shaping the humble, hardworking athlete he is today.
